Vocals: The late Irish folk singer from Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary Liam Clancy (1935 – 2009) and the late Irish folk musician, artist, poet and storyteller Tommy Makem (1932 – 2007).
Lyrics: Composer Unknown. Same is a traditional Sea Shanty* from the 1860s, and since turned folk song.
